The hotel was awesome for the price, offering great rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. The location was quite spacious, overall clean, but lacked a double bed. Easy to travel to the center of Dusseldorf with a 20-minute train ride but is excellent for visiting the city and shopping mall. The dining experience was magnificent, offering a variety of options. The staff was friendly and helpful, promptly changing my room to non-smoking upon request. The hotel is very good and quiet, close to the center.
The hotel had some ups and downs; the rooms were very clean and had a bathtub, but the two single beds pushed together separated when two people were in the middle. The old lamps flickered and the room smelled smokey despite being non-smoking.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room was very spacious for two people, but it was uncomfortably hot and stuffy in the middle of winter. On the bright side, the rooms were clean, the bar served good food, and parking was convenient next to the hotel. Overall, it was a neat place to stay.
